Nothing brought out the worst in kids, parents, and teachers like the stupid Science Fair. I've never written an Abstract in my collegiate and professional life. No one has ever asked me for my Hypothesis. But, I am grateful to have learned that you can ignore a project for 3 months and still get it all finished in one night. What academic thought it would be a good idea for the best and brightest parents to do their own child's homework in hopes of winning a prize for competing against the 12 years old peers of their son or daughter?
